Testing is an important part of the instructional design process. Assessment measures the student in their mastery so instructors can determine what level the students are at. Here are some assessments and tools created for such a purpose.

This was an assessment on telling time. It was used to create assessment that had clear instructions as well as making sure that the student stays on task.

When it comes into instructional design, a rubric becomes an integral part of the process. It used a lot for assessing application, but is very versatile. This is a rubric assessing sales skills.
